Tupac Vs Biggie...
While Pearl Jam have sold over 60 million albums worldwide to Nirvana's 50 million, Cobain's legacy is worth its weight in gold.

Tupac Shakur and Christopher Wallace were once the bestest of buddies, even recording a single underneath their pseudonyms titled '2Pac & BIGGIE — Runnin'. For the Million Man march Album, But as their fame rose and they aligned themselves with different record labels, the hip hop rivalry between the East and West coasts of America was born.

When Shakur was shot in an apparent murder attempt in New York City, he accused Biggie (aka Notorious B.I.G) and his label head Sean 'Puffy, P Diddy, Puff Daddy, Combs' of knowing about the attack and not warning him beforehand. His tirade spilled over to his lyrics, where he rapped about Biggie copying his style, sleeping with Biggies wife and called him a 'faker'. Within three years, both were dead from apparent retaliation drive-by shootings.

2Pac and his legacy has sold over 75 million records worldwide, making him the best selling hop-hop artist of all time, clocking 17 Top 10 singles on the US Billboard charts — many of them from posthumous releases. Notorious B.I.G has also had loads of releases feature on the Billboard charts and continues to 'release' records that hit US platinum many times over, ten years after his passing.

And the winner is ...
While their deaths may have triggered a peace summit between East and West Coast rivalries, their murders remain unsolved, and there are no winners here.
